Though not much flights are available in this terminal but flights to Delhi from here is quite frequent. For international travelers the nearest terminal is Delhi at a distance of 235km.

The major railhead is Dehradun Railway Station which connects many cities all over the country through multiple trains. Mumbai, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kolkata, Delhi and many other places have direct trains to Dehradun. There are high speed trains which facilitate comfortable journey in less time.

State owned buses as well as tourist buses connect Dehradun to all the nearest cities. There are deluxe and Volvo buses which takes a time of 6-8hrs from Delhi to reach Dehradun at nominal costs.
